Code of Conduct

  • Each registrant will arrive to camp and be picked up from camp on timely basis every day.
  • Each registrant will attend the camp every day from starting time till the end time that the camp is in session (July 6 - July 23, 2016, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.). If you have any upcoming family events (wedding, birthday parties, travel, etc.) that will make you miss the camp for a day or a few days, please do not apply for the camp. Daily attendance at the camp is highly important for the learning focus.
  • The registrant's behavior shall be respectful towards teachers, other staff, volunteers and fellow students.
  • Dress Code: No spaghetti strap tank tops, stomach or hip bearing or low hanging clothing will be allowed at the camp. Appropriate clothing will be t-shirts, knee-length shorts, ankle-length capri pants, or leggings. Indian Salwaar-Kurtas are welcome.
  • Please keep an extra pair of clothing with you at camp.
  • Participation in all camp activities is expected by all students.
  • No food shall be brought from home to camp, unless it is medically required (allergy, etc.). Please inform the camp director in writing, if you need this special accommodation.
  • Avoiding waste of food and other camp supplies will be encouraged. Please take your food and supplies in small quantities. You can have more, once you finish what you have.
  • Each registrant will be expected to help in cleaning.
  • There will be a fine of$10 for each late pick-up for first 30 minutes after the designated time and $20 thereafter, per incident.
  • Each participant is requested to bring their refillable water bottles, a hat and a school bag to camp every day.
  • Each participant is required to wear the name tag provided on day one at all times while at the camp.
